The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This creates significant loads and body flex, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis flex and deformation when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
Ultra Racing helps reduce this effect with its strut brace by providing an additional connection between the upper mounting points of the front struts.
The brace is intended for BMW 7 F01 and F02 LWB vehicles with a 3.0T engine and 2WD.
