The vehicle body is the part exposed to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. The result is significant deformation and body twisting, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace connects the mounting points at the top of the front struts and helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
This version is intended for Chevrolet Epica/Tosca vehicles from 2007–2015 with a 2.0 engine and 2WD.
