Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Chevrolet Malibu VIII 2.0D 2WD

During fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to significant loads, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle’s mass.

When cornering quickly, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase to up to three times that on the other side. This causes the body and suspension to flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Body flex while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace connects the upper strut mounting points and helps reduce body flex.
