The vehicle body is exposed to the greatest loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This leads to body flex and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the body and limit its twisting.
