Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Chevrolet Optra J200/Daewoo Lacetti J200

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or intense acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater loads, bending and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Deformation and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reinforce the body.

The product is intended only for vehicles with the listed engine variants:

• Chevrolet Optra (J200), 1.6 2WD and 1.8 2WD, model years 2002–2009
• Daewoo Lacetti (J200), 1.5 2WD, model years 2002–2009
