The vehicle body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This places significant loads on the body and causes it to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body twisting and flexing during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing upper strut brace increases the stiffness of the front part of the body and helps limit its twisting.
