The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the weight of the body is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis while cornering can result in poorer handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing strut brace helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the body and limit its twisting.
