Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Citroen DS5 I 1.6T

The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sharp acceleration.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to 3 times more force than the other. This results in greater bending and twisting of the chassis or bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Bending and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace connects the upper mounting points and helps increase body stiffness.
