Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Citroen ZX I

The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest stress while driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.

In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in increased chassis flex, body deformation and torsional loads, causing the tyres to lose grip.

Chassis flex and torsional deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
