The car’s chassis or bodywork is subjected to heavy loads during fast driving. These loads are caused mainly by the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to 3 times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis or bodywork to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps to further connect the front strut mounting points and reduce unwanted body movement.
