Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Hyundai Atos I-MX

When cornering quickly, braking hard and accelerating, the car’s chassis is subjected to heavy loads caused by the transfer of the body’s weight.

When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes the body to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis flex during cornering can lead to undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The strut brace between the upper strut mounting points increases the stiffness of this part of the body and helps reduce its flex.
