The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more load than the other. This results in greater loads on the body, causing it to bend and twist and consequently reducing tyre grip.
Bending and twisting of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace connects the upper strut mounting points and is designed to provide additional reinforcement in this area.
- Product: front upper strut brace
