The vehicle body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In certain situations, weight transfer while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The front upper strut brace helps increase the rigidity of this area of the body and limit its twisting.
The product is intended only for 3.0D engines in Isuzu D-Max I (TFR/TFS) vehicles, model years 2008–2012.
