Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Jaguar XK8 X100

The car’s chassis or body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

When cornering, the transfer of mass to one side of the vehicle can result in forces up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the chassis or body, which can result in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps connect the upper mounting points, thereby increasing the rigidity of the front section of the body.
