Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for Kia Carens RP 1.7D 2WD

The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace is designed for the Kia Carens (RP) 1.7D 2WD, model years 2013–2019. It has 2 mounting points.

The vehicle’s chassis or bodywork is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of the bodywork’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.

During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater twisting and bending of the bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.

Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The upper strut brace increases the stiffness of the connection between the two upper mounting points of the front dampers.

Suitable for: Kia Carens IV (MPV/RP).
