The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer during cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to loads up to 3 times greater than the other. This results in significant deformation and twisting of the chassis, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps reduce undesirable body deformation. It features 2 mounting points.
Suitable for: Land Rover Freelander II (L359).
