When driving quickly through corners, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle body is subjected to significant loads. As weight is transferred, the loads on individual parts of the body increase, which can cause the body to bend and twist.
The brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps limit unwanted body movement. This can contribute to more predictable vehicle behaviour in corners and during changes of direction.
