During fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads caused by weight transfer. Such forces can cause the body to twist and reduce tyre grip.
The front upper strut brace connects the upper strut mounting points and helps reduce body flex and twisting. This can improve vehicle responsiveness and reduce unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
