The Ultra Racing 2-point front upper strut brace is designed to reduce body flex during dynamic driving. It is installed between the upper mounting points of the front dampers.
The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in substantial chassis flex, body deformation and torsional loads, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace has 2 mounting points and is intended for vehicles with a 1.8 engine and 2WD.
Suitable for: Ford Laser I (KF/KH), Mazda 323 IV (BG).
