The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during hard cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, transferring mass in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in loss of tyre grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This is where the Ultra Racing strut brace comes in. It additionally connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps reduce body twisting.
The strut brace is designed for Mazda Lantis (323F) I 1.8 2WD and has 2 mounting points.
