When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis in corners can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
