The car body is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes significant deformation and twisting of the body, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Body deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing strut brace connects the upper mounting areas of the front dampers and helps limit body twisting.
