The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, hard braking or sudden acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This can result in considerable chassis flex, body deformation and, consequently, loss of tyre grip.
Chassis flex and deformation when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The front upper strut brace helps connect the upper mounting points and limit unwanted flex in the front section of the body.
The product is intended for the 1.5 engine with 2WD drive.
- Installation: front upper
