Ultra Racing front upper strut brace for the Mitsubishi RVR/Space Runner I N1/N2 with a 2.0T engine and 4WD drivetrain from 1991–1999. The strut brace has 2 mounting points.
The car body is the part most exposed to loads while driving. These loads are caused mainly by the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause considerable twisting or deformation of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The strut brace connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
Suitable for: Mitsubishi Space Runner I (N1/N2).
