The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during high-speed driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of body mass.
When cornering quickly, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex during cornering can negatively affect vehicle handling and cause understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace helps increase the rigidity of the front section of the body.
