During fast driving, the vehicle body is exposed to the greatest loads, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes greater body flex and deformation, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can also cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps limit this deformation and increases body rigidity.
