The vehicle body is subjected to significant loads during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration due to weight transfer. Uneven loading of the left and right sides can cause the body to bend and twist.
Such deformation when driving through a corner can affect vehicle handling and contribute to undesirable characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace helps connect the mounting points and increase the rigidity of the front section of the body.
