During dynamic driving, the vehicle body is subjected to the greatest loads, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This leads to greater twisting and deformation of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The upper strut brace connects the mounting points of the front dampers and helps increase the rigidity of this part of the body.
The brace is designed for the Skoda Kodiaq I (NS7), 2.0 4WD and has 2 mounting points.
Suitable for: Škoda Kodiaq I (NS7).
