The vehicle body is one of the parts subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly evident when weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can increase up to threefold compared with the other side. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip. Such deformation can also affect the vehicle’s handling, for example by increasing understeer or oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps connect the upper mounting points of the front suspension and increase the stiffness of this part of the body.
