The car body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This leads to pronounced twisting and bending of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing two-point front upper strut brace connects the upper strut mounts and helps reduce bending of the front section of the body.
