The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, mass transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This results in greater twisting and bending of the body, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Twisting and deformation of the chassis while cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The front upper strut brace helps increase body stiffness around the upper mounting points.
The brace has 3 mounting points and is intended for Toyota Corolla VII (AE101) and Toyota Corolla VIII (AE111) vehicles with a 1.6 engine, 2WD and Sedan body type.
Suitable for: Toyota Corolla VII (E10) / VIII (E11).
