The vehicle body is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable during weight transfer when cornering quickly, braking hard or accelerating.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in significant bending, deformation and twisting of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis when cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace helps reduce such loads and increase the rigidity of the front part of the body.
