The vehicle’s chassis or body is exposed to significant loads during fast driving, heavy braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the body’s weight.
When driving through corners, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the chassis to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis twisting when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace additionally connects the upper mounting points of the front dampers and helps limit this deformation.
