The Ultra Racing front upper strut brace is designed to increase the rigidity of the vehicle body. During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the body is subjected to significant forces due to weight transfer.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other. This causes the body to twist and flex, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace connects the upper mountings of the front dampers and helps limit unwanted body movement.
