During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the vehicle body is subjected to significant loads caused by weight transfer. The Ultra Racing interior body brace helps improve body rigidity and limit body flex.
When driving through corners, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in greater deformation and body flex, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body flex during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The brace is designed to reduce these effects and provide more predictable vehicle behaviour.
