The vehicle body is exposed to heavy loads during fast driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in body twisting, chassis flex and uneven tyre loading, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.
Body twisting while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The interior body brace helps increase structural rigidity and improve vehicle response.
