Ultra Racing interior brace for Mazda 3 (BM)

The Ultra Racing interior brace is designed to reduce body flex and twisting during dynamic driving.

The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. During fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration, the transfer of vehicle mass affects the body.

When cornering, the transfer of mass can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause greater body flex and twisting, resulting in the tyres losing grip.

Chassis flex and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The brace helps improve body rigidity at the mounting position.
