The car’s body is subjected to high loads while driving, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This results in higher loads, body twist and loss of tyre grip.
Body twist while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace helps limit these deformations and improve body stiffness.
