The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the most stress during driving, especially due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause greater chassis flex and deformation, resulting in the tyres losing grip.
Chassis flex when driving through corners can also cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The interior chassis brace helps increase chassis stiffness and improve its behaviour during dynamic driving.
