During dynamic driving, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads, particularly due to weight transfer during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This causes the body to twist and deform, which can result in the tyres losing grip.
Body twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer. The Ultra Racing interior chassis brace helps increase vehicle stiffness and limit such deformations.
