When driving through a corner, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can cause considerable body flex and deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
This Ultra Racing interior cross brace attaches at 2 points and is designed to provide additional body stiffness. For 2.0T 2WD versions, the supplier’s data also lists a left-hand-drive version with a brake stopper.
