Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace for Audi A6 C6

A car’s chassis is the part of the vehicle subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.

In some cases, the transfer of mass while cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, or body deformation and torsion, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis deformation and flex while cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.

The brace is attached at 4 mounting points.
