The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or decisive acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant bending, deformation and twisting of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.
