The vehicle chassis is subjected to considerable loads during dynamic driving, particularly due to the transfer of the body’s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.
When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more heavily than the other. This results in greater loads on the chassis, body flex and loss of tyre grip.
The brace helps reduce chassis deformation and flex, which can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The product is intended for 2.0D 4WD, 2.0TT 4WD and 3.0 4WD engines.
