Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace for Daihatsu Copen I L880

The vehicle’s chassis is subjected to significant loads during fast driving, particularly due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.

When cornering, the load on one side of the vehicle can be up to three times greater than on the other side. This can cause chassis flex and body deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.

Chassis flex during cornering can also cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The mid lower chassis brace helps increase body stiffness in this area.
