The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This results in significant bending and twisting of the chassis or body, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting when cornering can cause undesirable driving characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these effects.
