A car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident when the body’s weight is transferred during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to forces up to three times greater than the other. This causes significant chassis twisting and bodywork deformation, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting in corners can cause undesirable driving characteristics, such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these loads and increase chassis rigidity.
