The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads during dynamic driving. This is particularly pronounced due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or sudden acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This causes considerable bending and twisting of the chassis, or deformation of the body, resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Deformation and twisting of the chassis during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing brace is designed to reduce these undesirable effects by providing additional support for the vehicle chassis.
