The vehicle chassis is the part subjected to the greatest stress during dynamic driving. Significant loads occur mainly due to the transfer of the body’s mass during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration.
In some cases, weight transfer in a corner can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This causes significant body flex and deformation, consequently resulting in a loss of tyre grip.
Chassis deformation and flexing in corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The Ultra Racing mid lower chassis brace is designed to reduce these undesirable effects. The product has 2 mounting points.
