The car’s chassis is the part subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of body mass during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.
In some cases, the transfer of mass when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to a force up to three times greater than the other. This can result in considerable chassis twisting, body deformation and torsional loads, causing the tyres to lose grip.
Chassis deformation and twisting during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
The brace is intended for 3.5 V6 engines in 2WD and 4WD versions for left-hand-drive (LHD) vehicles.
